Lyrics:
So far from who I was
From who I love
From who I want to be
So far from all our dreams
From all it means
From you here next to me
So far from seeing home
I stand out here alone
Am I asking for too much
So far from being free
From the past thats haunting me
The future I just cant touch
And if you take my hand
Please pull me from the dark
And show me hope again
Well run side by side
No secrets left to hide
Sheltered from the pain
Through dark and light I fight to be
So close
Shadows and lies mask you from me
So close
Bathe my skin, the darkness within
So close
The war of our lives no one can win
The missing piece I yearn to find
So close
Please clear the anguish from my mind
So close
But when the truth of you comes clear
So close
I wish my life Id never come near here
So close
Through dark and light I fight to be
So close
Shadows and lies mask you from me
With the release of “Seelie”, CLANN welcomes us back to the world of KIN Fables — a grand scale multimedia project captained by director/producer Seb McKinnon, encompassing original music and stunning short films. This is a visual/musical project, one as as melancholic as it is epic, as haunting as it is beautiful, with plans to culminate into a feature film (currently in late stages of development). The word clann comes from Old Irish, meaning family — indeed, the family of collaborators responsible for this odyssey returns with the signature ethereal vocals of Charlotte Oleena, as though singing words from an unknown or long forgotten language, and heart-wringing string performances by violinist Chloe Picard. With Seelie, they have refined their sound, while not losing touch with their cinematic arrangements, airy vocals, and trip hop/downtempo beats.

— Lyrics:
Dead Love couldnt go no further
Proud of and disgusted by her
Push shove, a little bruised and battered
Oh Lord I aint coming home with you
My lifes a bit more colder
Dead wife is what I told her
Brass knife sinks into my shoulder
Oh babe dont know what Im gonna do
I see my red head, messed bed, tear shed, queen bee
My squeeze
The stage it smells, tells, hells bells, miss-spells
Knocks me on my knees
It didnt hurt, flirt, blood squirt, stuffed shirt
Hang me on a tree
After I count down, three rounds, in hell Ill be in good company
Dead Love couldnt go no further
Proud of and disgusted by her
Push shove, a little bruised and battered
Oh Lord I aint coming home with you
My lifes a bit more colder
Dead wife is what I told her
Brass knife sinks into my shoulder
Oh babe dont know what Im gonna do
I see my red head, messed bed, tear shed, queen bee
My squeeze
The stage it smells, tells, hells bells, misspells
Knocks me on my knees
It didnt hurt, flirt, blood squirt, stuffed shirt
Hang me on a tree
After I count down, three rounds, in hell Ill be in good company
