Rip of the 1992 CD release from Teichiku Records Co.
Takashi Kokubo (小久保隆) released ten albums over the course of 1992-93 in what is called the «Ion Series». These ten albums were released in two five-album sub-series, one in 1992 and one in 1993. The first sub-series, released in 1992, is titled 「都市生活者へ送る音風景」 or «Sound Scenery for City People». This album is part one of the first sub-series, making it the first album in the Ion Series.
I feel so unsure
As I take your hand and lead you to the dance floor
As the music dies, something in your eyes
Calls to mind a silver screen and all its sad good-byes
Im never gonna dance again
Guilty feet have got no rhythm
Though its easy to pretend
I know youre not a fool
Should’ve known better than to cheat a friend
And waste a chance that Ive been given
So Im never gonna dance again
The way I danced with you.
Time can never mend
The careless whispers of a good friend
To the heart and mind
Ignorance is kind
But theres no comfort in the truth
Pain is all youll find
Im never gonna dance again
Guilty feet have got no rhythm
Though its easy to pretend
I know youre not a fool
Should’ve known better than to cheat a friend
And waste a chance that Ive been given
So Im never gonna dance again
The way I danced with you.
Never without your love
Tonight the music seems so loud
I wish that we could lose this crowd
Maybe its better this way,
Wed hurt each other with the things we want to say
We good have been so good together
We could have lived this dance forever
But now whos gonna dance with me
Please stay
And Im never gonna dance again
Guilty feet have got no rhythm
Though its easy to pretend
I know youre not a fool
Should have known better than to cheat a friend
And waste a chance that Ive been given
So Im never gonna dance again
The way I danced with you.
Now that you’re gone, now that you’re gone
Now that you’re gone
What I did was so wrong, so wrong
That you had to leave me alone
