With the release of “Seelie”, CLANN welcomes us back to the world of KIN Fables — a grand scale multimedia project captained by director/producer Seb McKinnon, encompassing original music and stunning short films. This is a visual/musical project, one as as melancholic as it is epic, as haunting as it is beautiful, with plans to culminate into a feature film (currently in late stages of development). The word clann comes from Old Irish, meaning family — indeed, the family of collaborators responsible for this odyssey returns with the signature ethereal vocals of Charlotte Oleena, as though singing words from an unknown or long forgotten language, and heart-wringing string performances by violinist Chloe Picard. With Seelie, they have refined their sound, while not losing touch with their cinematic arrangements, airy vocals, and trip hop/downtempo beats.
This live version of «Oct 33» is available on the Deluxe Edition of the self titled Black Pumas debut album. The Deluxe Edition includes 11 bonus tracks (3 brand new songs, 4 covers, and 4 live recordings) and is available now in 2xLP, 2xCD and digital formats: smarturl.it/BPDeluxe"
Lyrics:
Just stop your crying, its a sign of the times
We gotta get away from here
We gotta get away from here
Just stop your crying, itll be alright
They told me that the end is near
We gotta get away from here

Lyrics:
You try to hold me down so I became a soldier
Built up all theses walls and now Im climbing over
Those nasty bees are tempting me
Oh lord! But I aint going back
You take me for a fool, that doesnt make me foolish
Told me I was wrong, passion made you ruthless
Manipulate, its just too late
Oh lord! Cause I aint going back no more
Your fueling of the flames gonna show you what Im made of
Breakin every chain that you put on me
You thought I wouldnt change but I grew on you
Cause I will never be what you wanted
This fire, this fire
Is keeping me alive
Making me believe I couldnt do without you
Make it hard to leave you think its all about you
You know Ill never be what you wanted
This fire, this fire
I tried to get this weight off of my shoulders
Built up all my strength Im finally taking over
Complicate, I dont appreciate
Oh lord, cause I aint going back no more
Your fueling of the flames gonna show you what Im made of
Breakin every chain that you put on me
You thought I wouldnt change but I grew on you
Cause I will never be what you wanted
This fire, this fire
Is keeping me alive
Making me believe I couldnt do without you
Make it hard to leave you think its all about you
You know Ill never be what you wanted
This fire, this fire
Is keeping me alive
Breakin me, shakin me, shapin me
Into what I never wanted, oh
Breakin me, shakin me
Makin my beatin heart a little stronger
Breakin every chain that you put on me
You thought I wouldnt change but I grew on you
Cause I will never be what you wanted
This fire, this fire
Is keeping me alive
Breakin every chain that you put on me
You thought I wouldnt change but I grew on you
Cause I would never be what you wanted
This fire, this fire
Is keeping me alive
Making me believe I couldnt do without you
Make it hard to leave you think its all about you
You know Ill never be what you wanted
This fire, this fire
Is keeping me alive
Keeping me alive, keeping me alive
This fire, this fire
Is keeping me alive
