// ABOUT THE ALBUM //
There’s no English analog for the Portuguese word saudade, which translates roughly to a melancholic longing for someone or something from the past. The term so aptly fits Thievery Corporation’s oeuvre (always wistful and dreamy) that it’s a wonder this is the first time the D.C. duo have employed it as an album title. Looking to the sounds of Brazil–bossa nova, samba, tropicalia–for their seventh long-player, longtime musical partners Rob Garza and Eric Hilton deliver a set that evokes shimmering seascapes and poolside cocktails. It’s the kind of album James Bond would put on for a romantic evening in Rio. Released on April 4, 2014, «Saudade» is Thievery Corporation’s 7th studio album through their ESL Music imprint.
It was my first time doing a homestay experience in the countryside of Japan but it sure was a very memorable and eye opening experience for me.
If you also want to stay here, email my friends at Akita Inu Tourism and they can help you contact Ishigaki-san and book for you in Japanese :) (English friendly — yay!)

After Ishigaki-san retires, she wants to do this kind of homestay experience more and introduce more people to the beauty of the country side.
Here are all the activities I did in Akita: bit.ly/2Zzl4R7
I hope this video gave you some insight on what life can be like in the countryside of Japan! I love the countryside more as its less explored by tourists so you really can see this «raw» kind of Japan and understand the local culture and history more.
Each prefecture has its own speciality and history so what better way to immerse yourself in the culture than to try a homestay experience? :) I know a lot of you are worried if you cant speak Japanese but honestly you will be fine! Its not the language that matters, its the connection between two people so step out of your comfort zone and try it. Japanese people in the countryside tend to be very friendly too and Im sure they will give you a helping hand if you are lost even if they dont speak English.
If you do decide to go, let me know how your experience was and also tell Ishigaki-san I said hi! Hopefully she remembers me?! LOL
Look deeper in the «about» section to learn more about Tryptology and the Intentions within. You can find me on Soundcloud, Youtube, Hearthis, Mixcloud and other social networks, in fact I am everywhere on the web and in many realities and timelines. Here the tracklist and timecode :):
