// ABOUT THE ALBUM //
There’s no English analog for the Portuguese word saudade, which translates roughly to a melancholic longing for someone or something from the past. The term so aptly fits Thievery Corporation’s oeuvre (always wistful and dreamy) that it’s a wonder this is the first time the D.C. duo have employed it as an album title. Looking to the sounds of Brazil–bossa nova, samba, tropicalia–for their seventh long-player, longtime musical partners Rob Garza and Eric Hilton deliver a set that evokes shimmering seascapes and poolside cocktails. It’s the kind of album James Bond would put on for a romantic evening in Rio. Released on April 4, 2014, «Saudade» is Thievery Corporation’s 7th studio album through their ESL Music imprint.

I thought it was about time that a large relaxing suite was created for Skyrim. And it seems like this is an appropriate celebration of Skyrim as the Special Edition was only just revealed. The Witcher 2 is an adult rpg. Some of these dramatic moments are illustrated in pictures combined with the more soft emotional songs.

Join us as Samaya explores the music discography of the Resueño label. In over 1.5 hours, Samaya compiles many of his favorite songs, including old and new featured artists on Shivelight such as Aluna, Kama Lila Sol, Baptiste Sejourne, POAN, Iyakuh, Mose and many more.

Resueño is the union between two Spanish words, Resueno (meaning, «I resonate»), and Sueño (meaning «Dream»), hence evoking the aim to collaborate towards sonificating dream states. The label was formed with the aim of bringing artists together to create something which alone would not be possible, and to blur the boundary between the dance floor and the chill-out sound journey space; to find a colorful middle path where all is in balance and the cosmic harmony flows through.

Fans of the more shamanic downtempo side of Shivelight will certainly enjoy diving into these sounds which blend the natural world and global tribal representation, encouraging empathy and synergy amongst all living creatures on our planet.
